The members of the 9/10-year-old all star softball team from Fife/Milton/Edgewood Little League gave it all they had at the state tournament last week, finishing in fourth place. Football program builds positive foundations
For the sixth consecutive year, Fife football head coach Kent Nevin, coupled with his faithful assistant coaches and players, hosted Fife’s youth junior football camp on June 16-19. The three day comprehensive, non-contact football camp focused on basic fundamentals such as throwing, catching, defending, form blocking, exploding out of a stance with proper technique and ending each day with individual competition and scrimmages. The camp more importantly emphasized the core covenants of the Fife High School football program: always team first, belief in self and teammates, no superstars – only teammates, every teammate is important and Fife community pride. Boys fall, girls alive in all-star competition
All-stars from Fife/Milton/Edgewood Little League competed in a tournament with teams from leagues around the South Sound this week at Federal Way National Little League’s complex. Trojans move into district tournament after loss
The Trojans’ boys basketball (16-3, 10-2) team closed the regular season out with a facile win versus the brawny but inconsistent-shooting Washington Patriots (3-17, 0-12) on Feb, 19. The Trojans, in league play, managed to maneuver narrowly intact through Nisqually 2A competition. However, the Trojans found their toughest opposition playing their rivals, the Steilacoom Sentinels (16-3, 10-3). Read more...
