FBLA winners bring honor to Fife
Fife High School (FHS) was recognized with top honors at the national leadership conference of Future Business Leaders of America – Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA) in Anaheim June 25-28. Attracting more than 7,800 future business leaders, the student participants traveled from across the country to compete in nearly 60 different events representing a wide range of activities and business/leadership development. Resident celebrates 100 years of life
This month, one of Willow Gardens Independent Retirement Living residents has a very special birthday. Thelma Rhea was born in Nebraska 100 years ago on July 14, 1909. She grew up in Waverly, Kansas, and was the ninth of 10 children. She graduated from high school and was trained as a dental assistant. She received excellent training from an outstanding dentist.
