Picha brothers carry on a family tradition
The statue of the berry farmer near the downtown Puyallup Pavilion, holding a flat of strawberries, is modeled on longtime Puyallup Valley berry farmer Ted Picha. Ted’s parents, Mike and Gertrude Picha, homesteaded the Puyallup Valley in the early 1900s.
