Tacoma Police arrested convicted child molester Timothy Hernandez in the 2000 block of East 37th Street at about 7:45 p.m. Saturday night, July 1. He was featured on “Washington's Most Wanted” the previous Friday night. TPD confirms that it was a tip from a “Washington's Most Wanted” viewer who spotted him living in a tent and knew there was a Crime Stoppers of Tacoma-Pierce County reward for his capture. Officers responded and took him into custody. Hernandez was wanted by the Pierce County Sheriff's Department for failure to register as a sex offender. He is “Washington’s Most Wanted” capture #895.
