Hidden deep in the heart of Fife is the Warthog Barbeque Pit, a long-standing restaurant that has been bringing home-style cooking to the city for over 18 years. With the opening of another location in Parkland, the team led by owner Gary Kurashima shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
Warthog Barbeque cooks up to 300 pounds of meat a day, and nothing emphasizes the style of the restaurant more than the their famous barbeque ribs, pulled pork, slow smoked brisket and chicken. The restaurant also offers homemade chilli, gumbo and even off the broiler kobe burgers. If you’re still not stuffed, try Warthog’s delicious homemade pie in a variety of flavors including key lime, peanut butter, raspberry, Devonshire and of course blueberry and apple.
If you know that your Thanksgiving will be busy, the Warthog has you covered with their annual Pilgrim Family Pack. For pickup only, the pack includes one smoked turkey (approximately 12-14 pounds), homemade cornbread/sausage stuffing, country-style mashed potatoes, country gravy, sweet and zesty yams, Southern-style cornbread, honey butter, Southern veggies, fresh cranberry sauce and Warthog’s homemade pumpkin pie – a meal big enough for a whole family for $169.95. Warthog barbeque asks orders to be placed by Monday, Nov. 22 to take advantage of the delicious offer.
Be sure to check out their country style potato, homestyle coleslaw, southern style cornbread honey butter all for $14.95.
If you are interested in hosting an upcoming event or party with Warthog food, check out the Warthog Banquet Services, where the restaurant offers a private room with a four different custom menu options that include standouts like ribs and baked beans.
