Hidden deep in the heart of Fife is the Warthog Barbeque Pit, a long-standing restaurant that has been bringing home-style cooking to the city for over 18 years. With the opening of another location in Parkland, the team led by owner Gary Kurashima shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
Warthog Barbeque cooks up to 300 pounds of meat a day, and nothing emphasizes the style of the restaurant more than the their famous barbeque ribs, pulled pork, slow smoked brisket and chicken. The restaurant also offers homemade chilli, gumbo and even off the broiler kobe burgers. If you’re still not stuffed, try Warthog’s delicious homemade pie in a variety of flavors including key lime, peanut butter, raspberry, Devonshire and of course blueberry and apple.
