Future Business Leaders of America teams from Fife High School and Columbia Junior High at the FBLA national competitions in Chicago. “The kids all did an amazing job and had a great time at the conference and exploring Chicago,” said Fife’s FBLA advisor Laura Hilzendeger. Columbia’s FBLA advisor Keith Hannah said he is very proud of every one of the students who worked hard all school year to make it to nationals. “They are all ‘winners’ in my opinion just for getting there,” he said. Columbia’s FBLA chapter was one of two chapters in Washington State recognized this year at the national conference by the FBLA National Office as a National Outstanding Local Chapter.
