Fife’s future business leaders win big

The Fife FBLA students successfully competed at the FBLA State Conference this past weekend in Yakima. The group had 20 teams in preliminaries and 12 teams qualified to present in finals (the top 12 – 15 teams qualify for finals depending on the event).
Fife High School received the following awards:
Peninsula Region Chapter Awards – Largest Chapter Membership (53); Largest Professional Membership (18)
State Chapter Award – Largest Professional Membership (18)
Individual and Team Awards ¬– Client Service, 3rd place, Cori Rummel and 4th place, Tyler Richards; Community Service Project, 4th place, Henry Frentress, Courtney Larson and Nicole McCaffrey; Electronic Career Portfolio, 4th place, Stephanie Coffey; Management Decision Making, 5th place, Jordan Brewer and Henry Frentress; Personal Finance, 3rd place, Devin Ritchey (qualified for nationals).
Columbia Junior High School received the following awards:
Peninsula Region Chapter Awards – Outstanding Middle Level Chapter
State Individual Awards – Electronic Career Portfolio, 5th place; Graphic Design, 1st place
